Kajiado Governor Joseph Ole Lenku  has rallied Maa community behind Azimio la Umoja under the leadership of ODM Party Leader Raila Odinga.

Speaking in  Mashuru Lenku says Azimio la Umoja coalition is the only political vehicle that will steer development in Masaai land.

“Since the handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and former prime minister Raila Odinga we have been enjoying peace in our country, the two leaders have been agitating for unity and good governance under Azimio la Umoja. I want to urge you to join Azimio la Umoja so that we can be in the next government…we have many unfinished projects by president Uhuru Kenyatta and the only person who can ensure they are done is Raila Amollo Odinga,” Lenku said.

“I want also to ask those who are still outside there to come on board because the Yatch is almost taking off …we shall have no other time.” He added.

In  a statement end January the Maa leaders promised to back ODM chief terming him as visionary leader.

Lenku, Narok senator Ledama Ole Kina, Environment cabinet secretary Keriako Tobiko have have been tasked to steer Azimio campaigns and agenda in Masaai land.
