Leading Nairobi’s Jubilee Party Gubernatorial candidate Richard Ngatia will today continue with vote hunting mission in Kangemi.
The Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) president will today hold a mega rally at his home turf of Kangemi in Westlands constituency.
Ngatia will woo the voter rich area where he was born and raised as well as seek blessings to traverse the rest of the county in search of the county’s top job.
Dubbed #TheNgatiaDeclaration the mega rally will officially kickstart a series of similar campaigns across the county
Today’s Kangemi rally is an important event for Ngatia who is seeking to take over Nairobi leadership as he will use the rally to remind Nairobians that he is a common Nairobi resident unlike many who are imports from their rural villages.
Ngatia revealed that his planned mega rally at Kangemi back yard today is where he will embark on an expansive tour of the city to sell his transformative agenda.
“I will hold a mega rally at Kangemi where I was born and raised this Sunday. After I get the blessings from home, we shall now go round Nairobi preaching transformation because we are tired of what is happening in Nairobi. We must have change that will see the city have a final transformation into a smart city,” Ngatia said.
The area Member of Parliament Tim Wanyonyi is one of Ngatia’s main challengers for the seat but the business mogul has maintained a clear lead ahead of the city politician even as he advances the Azimio La Umoja Presidential candidate Raila Odinga campaigns, and his own, as the forth governor of the city and Raila as the fifth President at the August 9th, 2022 general elections.
