Nairobi City County Alcoholic Drinks Control and Licensing Board has said that at least 43 entertainment joints in Nairobi,will be closed down for noise pollution.
The revocation is pegged on Nairobi City County Alcoholic Drinks Control and Licensing ACT 2014 Section 21(1) and Section 35(3).
The nightclubs are mainly located in Kibra, Roysambu, Lang’ata, Westlands, Roysambu, Dagoretti North, Embakasi West and Kamukunji.
“We are happy with the board and they have done a good job, What governor Sakaja should now do is to move with speed and close these clubs completely we can not accept this disorder and impunity.’’ Nairobi resident said.
